First Challenge Card for November

The A Muse Lounge challenge this month is "Dashes, Dots, and Doodles"  The idea being to have a hand drawn or written element in your card.  Whoa...this scares me.  I hate my handwriting and don't trust my drawing abilities at all.  Which, is part of why I like stamping SO much!  Someone else does the drawing and writing for you!  But once I had the idea for this card of the squirrels carrying off an acorn, I needed the right sentiment.  Which, of course, I don't have.  So I took the "don't fear, TURKEY is near" stamp from A Muse and changed it to be "don't fear, WINTER is near", and I added an exclamation mark at the end for good measure.  I definitely had to practice the writing first a few times, I think the whole think turned out pretty cute.  I also had to free hand the tree trunk shape.  yikes!
