This might be my last card for Halloween this year, I don't have any others made yet, and it might be time to start working on Thanksgiving projects. I really like this card. It just came together well. I made a window in a gray card, then used vellum in it. The orange moon is applied behind the vellum instead of in front of it to give a sheerer look. I stamped the fence in gray ink with clear embossing powder so that it would show up better on the vellum (and so it wouldn't smudge, because vellum). Embossing on vellum is so tricky, it always seems to leave the vellum warped from the heat. To help with this, I left the vellum under a stack of heavy boxes for a while to flatten it back out. The haunted house is also embossed, but with white embossing powder. It just stands out so much better on black paper than white ink with clear powder does. I popped both the house and the sentiment banner up with foam mounting tape. The inside says, "Happy Halloween".
