Mother's Day No. 2

Two post in two days totally counts as on a roll right?  I think it does.  Besides making cards, I've been spending a lot of time getting to know a•muse | studio from the consultant side of things.  Figuring out how to place orders of all types, updating this blog (look at the side bar for links to .pdfs of catalogs and a link to my webstore!), trying to figure out when I should host my first class.  I'm sure it'll all be second nature in no time.  Anyways, on to fun stuff.

I've been meaning to do watercolor with gold embossing for a while now.  I just LOVE the look of it!  These tulips in pitcher vase worked perfectly.  I added a little transparent metallic gold to the blooms as well.  When it came time to add the ribbon, I noticed that I could still see the patterned paper through it.  So, I added a double layer of the ribbon and it's nicely opaque now.  The inside says "happy mother's day".

Supplies
Stamps: A Muse happiness blooms and essential sentiments (inside) sets
Ink: VersaMark and Delicata golden glitz (inside)
Paper: A Muse vanilla and lemon whip cardstock, A Muse everything's rosy paper, and Strathmore Bristol board 300 series smooth/vellum
Misc.: A Muse tag bundle die set, A Muse 3/8" vanilla twill ribbon, foam mounting tape, Ranger superfine detail gold embossing powder, embossing buddy, and Nicholson's peerless watercolors and transparent metallic gold

  2. Thanks! I suuuuuper love this set too! I liked that it was good for Easter, general spring, or mother's day! The layout was an accident! I was going to have a sentiment on white instead of the rosy paper, but it didn't stamp out as crisply as i would like. so voila! =)
