Tantalizing Tropicals No. 1

Well,  it's been a while!  Life's been busy at our house.  Kieran finished up the preschool school year AND my husband finished up grad school!  He is now has an impressive Masters of Aerospace Engineering!  He's a damn awesome guy!  To recover from all of this, we left for a week long beach trip the day after the school year was over.  It wasn't tropical, because well the beach in June in Washington just isn't.  But it was still awesome!  Everybody had a great time, even the dog.  Sand castles, kites, collecting shells, long walks and more.

We're back home now and finding a new routine of life without grad school and on summer vacation. It's going to be quite the adjustment.  Now that we're back and unpacked, I can share with you all the great projects we did for my Tantalizing Tropicals class back at the very beginning of the month.

Here's the first.  It uses the neat "Hibiscus border" stamp and the "Be Yourself" set (it's FLAMINGOS!!!) For the waves, I used a scalloped border die and just used the opposite side of it.  Love how it turned out!

Paper: A Muse kraft, bermuda petite pinstripe, bermuda, and blush
