Guess what comes out today?!

HARRY POTTER 7 part I!!! YAY!!!  I am SO excited to go see it tonight with all my friends (AND at an IMAX!)  In honor of this momentous occasion, I have another Harry Potter card to show you.  It also applies to the A Muse Lounge Challenge this month.  Which, I have to say, I didn't think I'd be able to come up with one card for, let alone two.  Currently, my tiny yard needs to have it's fallen leaves cleaned up rather badly.  So, I thought, how would Harry do this?  (Or the Sorcerer's apprentice for that matter)  I am quite sure a with a simple swish and flick Harry would have it raked up in no time.  That's my kind of yard work!
For the card, I used flower soft for the leaves on the tree and the ones being raked up.  I really enjoy using this product!  It's got such a neat three dimensional aspect to it.  I drew the wand sparks, sparks at the end of the rake, and motion quotes at the bottom of the rake with a gold Spica glitter pen.  I also redrew the magic wand so that it would be pointing towards the rake instead of straight up.  Then, for the sentiment, again I didn't have quite the right stamp.  I took the "wishing you a magical holiday season" and replaced "holiday" with my own writing of "autumn".  Do you think Harry would do my yard next?

  1. Love it! When Harry is done raking your yard perhaps he could whip up a spell to make the dust in my house vanish.
