Post-Party Post!

Today my husband and I hosted, what we thought, was a highly successful gingerbread house decorating party!  We've done it once before and hope to make it an annual tradition.  When I was a kid, friends of my parents hosted one every year and it was SO much fun.  I made these invites earlier this month for the party.
Supplies
Stamps: Savvy Stamps gingerbread house, other text printed using our computer and desktop printer
Paper: A Muse evergreen and candy cane cardstock, Martha Stewart Crafts vellum
Inks: A Muse black dye
Misc.: Making Memories Slice Elite and Turkey Daze design card, red satin Waste Not Ribbon, white liquid appliqué, Copic Markers, Martha Stewart Crafts screw punch, Stickles glitter glue in silver and lime peel

We had a lot of fun with the party.  And I am a truly lucky girl to have a husband who is an equal partner in all the prep for entertaining.  He rolled out and assembled all the houses!  He came up with a cleverly devised system of using DVD cases and earlier on some glasses to hold things together while the Royal Icing dried.  They looked pretty great.
And they looked even better once decorated!
