The second baby shower of last summer was for my dear friend Cat! (She's got a great nail polish blog over at Cat's Adventure in Laquerland). She had adorable twin boys in October just a few days after Kristen from the first baby shower delivered her baby girl. As a child, Cat had a sock monkey that she loved, so her sister and my co-host suggested that as our theme. It turned out super cute! Here's the invite:
The white part comes out of the gingham pocket and has all the details of the shower on the back.
Again, my husband helped figure out the text on our computer so it aligned just right. AND figured out the color capture feature on our Mac so that I could match the text EXACTLY to the color of A Muse Studio ink and paper I was using! The little button brads at the corners were actually a pastel yellow, but after coloring them with a Copic marker, I was able to make them match the yellow shade I needed.
