Valentine's Day No. 1

Well, I did make Christmas cards this year, but I didn't do individual designs.  Instead, I reproduced a design we did in class at the A Muse Shop and used up a variety of colors of pre-cut and scored cards I already had.  They were pretty and I was able to churn out about 40 of them in under 3 hours.  But sadly, I took no pictures.  After Christmas this year though, I left out my Christmas supplies and made a whopping 18 different Christmas cards for next year!!  GO ME!  I look forward to sharing them with you...next December!

But,  in the meantime, here's my first Valentine's Day card for 2015 (and the 250th post I've made!!).  I really really like the off white, pale pink, kraft, and metallic champagne color combo.  You will be seeing A LOT of it from me!  The heart doily, the "love" word, and fishtail pennant shape are all die cuts.  Gotta love dies.  The off white background is edged using a sponge dauber with metallic champagne ink.  Then, I added a lot of foam mounting tape.  I popped up with background layer, the love word, and the fishtail shape.  Really, I just add dimensional to anything I can!  The inside says "Happy Valentine's Day"

Ink: Encore! Ultimate Metallic champagne
Paper: A Muse vanilla, blush, kraft, and shimmer couture platinum cardstock
