This card was most definitely inspired by someone else's awesome card. I seem to feel lately that completely original ideas (Though honestly how much of anything is truly original these days, especially with specific season holidays. There are just only so many ways to put a witch in front of a moon, or bats coming out of a haunted house, and so on.) require a certain level of restfulness that I am rarely able to achieve. Because parenting.
Anyways, the halo around the moon was done with watercolors. I had to stamp the sentiment twice, once on the halo background and once on the moon. Then, line them up to try and look as seamless as possible. The inside says "When witches go riding ad black cats are seen the moon laughs and whispers tis near Halloween."
