Mother's Day No. 6

I have to say, blue and yellow is one of my favorite color combos!  For anything really, clothes, interior design, china patterns, and of course cards! And used here, it gave me a chance to use another color of baker's cording I hadn't broken into yet!  The card itself is pretty straight forward.  I used three colors of ink, two shades of blue and a yellow.  Stamping some of the botanicals in each corner of the card.  I added just a couple jewel stickers to some of the yellow flowers.  The die cut stitched label in the center for the sentiment is actually one of A Muse's candy wrapper dies!  I love how you can use them for more than just packaging!  I made sure to white emboss the sentiment so it would stand out on the navy patterned paper.  No matter how opaque a white ink is, it well never been as bright and distinct as white embossing.  I added the little brads in the corners and then popped the sentiment up with foam mounting tape.  and Viola!  The inside says "Happy Mother's Day".
