Fantastic Father's Day No. 2

Here's the second project from my Father's Day class.  This one uses the mini pillow box!  So cute!  I realized that the die for the diamond/jewel in from the "Shiny Bright" set look an awful lot like the emblem from a Superman logo!  The most recent costumes for Superman in the movies have also had a slight hexagon texture to them as well, so the hexagon paper worked perfectly!  The yellow diamond in the center is the die cut one.  To make the outline in red hexagon, I simply adhered the yellow diamond to the hexagon paper and trimmed around it leaving a little border of red.  Worked perfectly!  I did a letter "D" in the center for Dad.  And lastly, added a little yellow sentiment strip across the bottom, kind of like a belt.  It didn't stand out at strongly as I wanted with just ink, so I clear embossed the words to give it a little more oomph. I LOVE how the whole thing it turned out!
