Happy Halloween!

A day late, but we were busy yesterday with our first Halloween in a neighborhood that actually has trick or treaters! Also, Kieran's first time actually dressing up and going trick or treating! He LOVED it!! He was a clown. We have a family costume. My grandma made (or had it made) for my dad when he was little, and everyone else, my aunt, my cousins, and myself, have worn it as usually their first costume. The rule is you pretty much wear it until you outgrow it. Kieran wore it last year to a pumpkin carving party, but he really didn't *get* it like he did this year. Nathan took him out door to door and I stayed behind to hand out candy. I made a pretty kick ass witch costume using a giant no-sew tutu a la Pinterest, an old pointed hat from a childhood costume of mine (to which I added extra tulle and 4" wide black satin ribbon), a 6 yard black satin sash, glittery black and silver tights, grey suede wing tip-esque wedges, and more eye make up than I've probably every put on before. I was pretty thrilled with the results and a lot of kids at the door said they liked it!
I managed to make one Halloween card this year before life and a cold I just couldn't kick got in my way.

Supplies
Stamps: A Muse you're bewitching, Happy Halloween (inside), crooked hat, and jack o' lanterns cling set
Ink: VersaFine black onyx, Memento tangelo, and A Muse grass
Paper: A Muse sugar, grass, orange petite dot, slate, and sage petite gingham
Misc.: Martha Stewart grass edge punch, Fiskars Fuse machine, A Muse fence die, Copic Markers, foam mounting tape
And just for fun, here's a couple shots of our Halloween!
