Christmas Card No. 1

Typically for Christmas, I like to make several different designs of Christmas cards and only make at most a couple of each.  That way, most of what I'm sending out are all different designs.  But last year, it just didn't happen.  Everybody got the same design with only slight color variations.  However, after Christmas we leave our decorations and all things festive up until after the 12 days of Christmas and it's Epiphany or January 6th.  I discovered, that once all the work is done getting ready for Christmas (baking, wrapping, shopping, decorating, cooking, etc.) I felt so much more relaxed AND so much more creative while still in a holiday atmosphere!  So, I made several cards that I saved to send out this year.

Here's the first one.  I loved how it turned out then and I still love it 11 months later!  I free hand drew the curve of the hill and edge it with a liquid snow puff type thing that you heat to get the snow.  Around the star I used a sponge dauber in VersaMark Dazzle to give it a nice glowing aura and for a very faint look of falling snow as well.  The inside says "Merry Christmas".

Ink: A Muse cobalt and VersaMark and VersaMark Dazzle champagne
